About Me: Ian Wearing

As both a competitor and a varsity baseball player, I have developed leadership and interpersonal communication skills through my teamwork and experience. Since I started playing baseball 12 years ago, I have always been interested in the importance of strategy and teamwork on the field.  As a pitcher, I felt a responsibility to step up as a leader to do my best, and keep the team spirit positive during competitive games. As I’ve grown, my interest has expanded beyond the field to learn about the business of sports. I have just begun my journey with this website in which I explore the most pressing issues in sports.
